Every summer camp NEEDS to have s'mores involved, amirite?
When searching for crafts for this year's Under the Sea theme, we found these adorable Starfish S'mores made by Hungry Happenings.
Supplies needed:
butter for greasing star shaped cookie cutters
1 bag Jet-Puffed S'moreMallows 30 square marshmallows
12 ounces dark chocolate or dark candy melts
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs from about 12 graham crackers
120 small candy eyes
Prep Time:1 hr Total Time: 1 hr
Instructions:
Grease small 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inch star shaped cookie cutters with butter.
Cut marshmallows with star shaped cutters.
Cut stars in half to make 2 thin stars.
Melt and temper dark chocolate, if using pure chocolate, or melt candy melts.
Dip a marshmallow star in chocolate then coat with graham cracker crumbs.
Set dipped marshmallow on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and allow to dry.
Repeat, creating 60 starfish.
Attach two candy eyes to each using the remaining chocolate.
Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
